Another year, and more candy to sell, YIPPEE!!!
Somehow I'm guessing that you have a different sentiment.
I have kids. I have done the candy thing, soft drinks, candles, popcorn tins, and just about everything else that can be sold to raise money. As big a hassle as it is for parents, I can just imagine the hassle on your end, especially with distribution. I have an alternative. It may not eliminate all your other fund raising, but it can help balance the books, with very little hassle on your part. The alternative???: BOWLING CARDS & PARTIES! Contrary to portrayal on sitcoms, bowling is still a very popular activity. It is, and has been for years the number one indoor participation sport in the world. Last year Bowling was ranked the sixth most popular participation sport in America, ahead of such sports as Golf and Softball. So maybe it's time for you to jump on the bandwagon. The simplest way to participate, is Bowling Cards. We provide business sized cards to your students to sell. The cards sell for $5 each, and are good for 3 free games of bowling any Sunday - Thursday. The cost per card is $4 (a $9.30 value) This leaves $1 per card profit for your oganization. BOWLING PARTIES are also very popular, & profitable, because we do all the work, you just sell the tickets in advance of the event, and at the party if any are left over. Here is how the parties are organized: On a selected Saturday we will run an all day party (going in shifts). 120 tickets would be sold for each of three shifts. Each shift would have music playing, and include bowling, rental shoes, and sodas. The first shift would be 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. It would be sold for $15 a person and would include snack foods. The second shift for $20 would be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and would include finger foods and cold cuts. The third would be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This party would be $25 a person. It would include a pizza feast and a large cake emblazoned with the logo of your organization. The FOXFIRE to the MAX light and sound show would also be employed. Your organization would pocket $5 for every ticket sold, making a potential $1,800 for each time you ran the promotion. And all this without lifting a case of anything. These are just two options, if your plans are more modest, or grand, we will work with you. Please call for more info. |
